ENDANGERED LANGUAGE FUND

The goal of the Endangered Language Fund (ELF) is to support endangered language preservation and documentation projects. Their main mechanism for supporting work on endangered languages has been funding grants to individuals, tribes, and museum. Douglas Whalen is the founder and President of ELF. The office of ELF are presently located in space lent by Haskins Laboratories.

The Endangered Language Fund is not formally affiliated with Haskins Laboratories. Haskins Laboratories takes no responsibility or credit for the activities of the Endangered Language Fund, but encourages activities that foster multidisciplinarity and rigorous exploration of the frontiers of science, particularly when done with a spirit of fun and enjoyment.
