“Speech-Sound Disorders in Childhood: Early Indicators and Interventions”

This day-long conference will focus on current research in the causes, assessments, and treatments for speech-sound disorders in children. Topics include speech perception and production in preschool and young school-age children with articulation/phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, and autism. Five invited speakers will discuss identification and treatment strategies, with added theoretical emphasis on the underlying nature of these disorders.
