HTI Conference  “Speech-Sound Disorders in Childhood: Early Indicators and Interventions”
Video Streaming Information Live internet video streaming of this event will b provided by Yale/New Haven Hospital Audiovisual Services. One week before the conference date, we will provide, via email, the web address allocated for our conference. In order to view the conference, simply open up this web address in your Web browser. You will be able to see and hear the conference, but no one at the conference site will be able to see or hear you. System Requirements: You will need a high-speed internet connection (Cable, DSL, or T1; not a modem connection); a computer capable of displaying video/audio; and an up-to-date Web Browser (e.g. Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer). We will update information here about specific systems/plugins etc. as we receive it. The Registration fee for offsite, live streaming is $100. It is acceptable to have up to 4 people view under a single Registration. If you wish to have more people watch the conference, please purchase an additional Registration for every four people. We will not actively enforce the Registration limit; we rely on you to be honest and support HTI with this nominal fee. Since this is our first conference using live internet streaming, we will be vigilant in testing and monitoring beforehand, and during the day. In the worst case scenario, if you are unable to view the conference for technical reasons, we will refund the registration fee. We are sorry, but we can not be responsible for any ancillary expenses you may incur in this process. Please bear with us as we learn to use this new medium! We will be recording the video of the conference as well. After the conference, these videos will be made available to local and remote conference registrants for free, and to others at a nominal cost.
