Business News:

Effective 1/1/06, the mileage rate was reduced by the IRS to 44.5 cents, down from 48.5 cents, which was a direct result from the drop in gasoline prices. This should be reflected on all employee expense reporting going forward.

Human Resource News:

Now that we have changed to a bi-weekly payroll, approved timesheets are required to be submitted after the two week time period ends, and not before. Blank timesheets are now available in PDF, Excel and Word formats, and hard copies are available in the mail room. For something to expect in upcoming events: In order to better serve our coffee and tea drinking needs, Haskins is looking into a new coffee supplier that will keep us well stocked and supplied with coffee, tea and related condiments.
