Linda Liss-Bronstein has worked in the field of education for twenty-four years, primarily with inner city students. She has a Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and a Sixth Year Degree in Reading. She is certified as a Speech and Language Pathologist , Remedial Reading Teacher and Reading and Language Arts Consultant. She received the Rolland J. Van Hattum Award in 1998 for Outstanding Commitment and Contribution to the Delivery of Speech and Language Pathology Services in a School Setting.
For the past four years Linda has worked at the Maria Sanchez Elementary School in Hartford, CT as a Fellow in the Early Reading Success Project and a CT Reads External Literacy Facilitator. In the upcoming school year, she will work as a Haskins Reading Specialist in Hartford at Wish, Moylan, and Rawson schools and in Waterbury at Sprague School.
