NEST meetings have been held annually in the New England area since
1991. The meetings bring together scientists from psychology, neuroscience,
computer science, kinesiology, and other disciplines to discuss their latest
research on time perception, motor control, sequence learning, and related
topics. Meetings last for one day (usually a Saturday in March) and consist of
about 14 oral presentations by researchers and graduate students working in
relevant areas. There is a small registration fee. The current venue is the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. A call for abstracts is issued in early January to an electronic mailing
list.
