There are a number of public parking lots close to the 300 George St. location of Haskins Laboratories. Here are a few options.
Laz Parking
This lot is directly across the street from 300 George Street. The rate is $2.00 first half hour, $4.00 an hour after that, up to $18.00 daily max.
Temple Medical Garage:
Connected to Temple Medical Building. Enter garage from George St. Valet parking available at the main entrance to the building on Temple Street. Valet parking at Temple Medical costs $3 for up to an hour; $5 for 1-2 hours; and $7 for 2-3 hours. There is a daily maximun of $9.
Kirk's public parking:
This lot is on Crown St. (1 block north of George St.), between College and High Streets, and is directly across the street from our old building at 270 Crown St.
Local street map:
Street parking can be a problem. Parking in front of 300 George St. is limited to 15 minutes and is usually full. Other metered parking in New Haven is available. You can park for 1-2 hours, depending upon the location, at a cost of 25¢ per 20 minutes. Meters are active on Saturdays.
