| Abstract | [Concluding comments]
Although there are some problems with the book, Massaro is reasonably successful in achieving his goals. In addition, the book makes an important contribution to the psychological literature by reinforcing the need to consider the notion of continuous processing (rather than tacitly accepting the assumption of discrete representations). It remains to be seen, however, whether Massaro’s approach to human information processing research will lead to the establishment of a “paradigm” for psychological inquiry. |
